OREANDA-NEWS Young people are more indifferent to the celebration of Valentine's Day than people aged 35-45 years. This was shown by a study conducted by the dating app "Badoo". His results were received in "Gazeta.Ru".

As analysts found out, almost half of the respondents aged 18-24 years "do not plan to celebrate it under any circumstances and do not expect anything special from this day."

Only a third of the surveyed representatives of generation Z are afraid of being left without a partner on February 14. At the same time, the majority of people aged 35-45 years — their share was 55% - admitted that they were afraid to spend Valentine's Day alone.

"There is a very clear trend towards more conscious dating: the search for a partner is no longer tied to date and circumstances, and the younger generation is less and less looking for a partner just to find him - meaningful acquaintances and connections are welcome," said Olesya Nesterova, brand director of "Badoo" in Russia.

In general, almost 40% of the surveyed single people are going to celebrate the holiday if they manage to find a partner, and 50% said they hope to start a new relationship on February 14.

Previously, the "Superjob" job search service found out what representatives of generation Z (born after 1997) pay attention to when looking for a job. The survey showed that it is important for buzzers to work remotely, receive compensation for food and travel.
