OREANDA-NEWS The Estonian Tallinn police have opened an administrative case against two men who allegedly turned on the anthem of Russia in the courtyard of the house while drunk. This is reported by the Delfi portal.

"In relation to two drunk men who took out a column into the courtyard of an apartment building in the capital's Mustamae district and played the Russian anthem at full volume, the police opened a case," the publication says.

It is clarified that the case was initiated under an article that provides for responsibility for the demonstration of symbols associated with "an act of aggression." According to the metropolitan police, the security forces treat listening to the Russian anthem in a public place as a public demonstration of a symbol that is associated "with the commission of an act of aggression" and is perceived as support for a special operation in Ukraine.

Earlier in Tallinn, the police fined a man for a sticker "I am Russian" on the car window. He was fined 500 euros for inciting hatred. The police also threatened him with criminal liability.
