OREANDA-NEWS  Over the past year, the vast majority (94 percent) of Russian employers have faced employee burnout.

The survey was conducted using an online questionnaire from January 29 to February 7. A total of 1,710 heads of departments and heads of companies in all Russian federal districts took part in it. 16 percent of organizations believe that employee burnout is not a company problem. In their opinion, the psychological fatigue of employees is related to their personal experiences.

Employers consider the provision of short-term leave for several days to be the main methods of combating professional burnout of employees (53 percent of respondents gave this answer), the organization of individual work with an employee experiencing psychological problems (44 percent), the appointment of an employee to a psychologist (21 percent) and the transfer of an employee to another department or to another position (6 percent).

The problem of burnout is faced not only by employees of Russian companies, but also by American ones. Earlier, Bloomberg, citing calculations by Gallup analysts, reported that the total damage to US companies due to a drop in productivity of "unhappy" workers amounted to $1.9 trillion by the end of 2023. It was about employees who were dissatisfied with the state of their own affairs at the main place of work.
