OREANDA-NEWS  The Russian domestic market is fully supplied with fuel. This assessment was made by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, TASS reports.

"Despite the fact that we have a number of plants under repair now and everything is being done to load additional production capacities, in general, our domestic market is provided with both gasoline and diesel fuel," Novak said.

At the same time, the deputy prime minister acknowledged that in the domestic market "there are shortages at individual gas stations," as well as disruptions caused by changes in supplies from refineries.

"We work with our oil companies on a daily basis to ensure that the problems that sometimes arise are closed," the Deputy Prime Minister stressed.

Novak noted that the country had accumulated fuel reserves so that, in case of local disruptions, they could be used to saturate the market.

Earlier it became known that at least 60 thousand tons of automobile gasoline from India were sent to Russia. Two tankers with the first batch of fuel have already set sail, but it is not specified which oil refinery sent them.
