OREANDA-NEWS After a concert by Belarusian rapper Max Korzh at the National Stadium in Warsaw, 63 people have been charged with the requirement to leave the country, Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on Tuesday.
"The final result was a situation that caused outrage in society. We are talking about riots, acts of aggression and individual provocations at the National Stadium during the concert of the Belarusian rapper. The events that took place there were completely unfounded and required a prompt response... The courts reacted quickly. In the case of crimes and misdemeanors, appropriate penalties were imposed. I thank the law enforcement agencies for their prompt response," Tusk said before the government meeting, as quoted by Polish media.
"I have just received information about the initiation of criminal cases against 63 people. They will be forced to leave the country, voluntarily or under duress," the prime minister added.
He clarified that we are talking about 57 Ukrainians and six Belarusians.
Belarusian rapper Max Korzh performed at the National Stadium in Warsaw on Saturday, August 9. During the concert, which was attended by about 60,000 people, the situation got out of control, fans began jumping over fences, and symbols appeared in the stands, which, according to Polish law enforcement agencies, "evokes negative historical associations."
