Passenger traffic increased by 51.5 percent over the year. At the same time, the share of air orders abroad is 42 percent. In addition, analysts have found out that Russians will spend their holidays in three European countries: Italy, France and Spain. Turkey and Thailand are also among the top five most popular summer destinations.

The source also says that tourists abroad try to save on accommodation. In the summer season of 2026, they choose hotels that cost an average of 16.4 thousand rubles per night. In 2025, this figure was 18.7 thousand.
