OREANDA-NEWS  Netizens have criticized an advertisement for the Italian fashion house Valentino due to the ridiculous use of artificial intelligence (AI). The corresponding videos and comments appeared on the Instagram account (a social network banned in Russia; owned by Meta, a recognized extremist organization and banned in the Russian Federation) of the brand.

The new commercial is dedicated to the DeVain bag. It shows a meeting of mannequins, whose hands are suddenly transformed into the logo of a luxury brand. At the same time, there is a note above the video itself that it was created using neural networks.

Users were surprised by such a marketing campaign and began discussing it in the comments under the publication. "You can call me a hater, but it looks cheap and doesn't match the brand," "Artificial intelligence can't compare to luxury and craftsmanship," "Tasteless AI nonsense," "Was Valentino's account hacked?", "I'm disappointed," they said.

In October, the Italian brand Diesel released an advertisement with Russian rufers Ivan Birkus and Angelina Nicolau and caused controversy online.
