OREANDA-NEWS  Leonid Slutsky, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs and leader of the Liberal Democratic Party, commented on the demands of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on security guarantees for the country. He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

Slutsky accused Zelensky of escalating the conflict in Ukraine and stressed that his demands contribute to this.

"Zelensky's maxims are not about guarantees of peace and security. Rather, it's about guarantees of further escalation and continuation of the war. To the last Ukrainian and the complete destruction of the country," the deputy said.

Earlier, Zelensky named three blocks of security guarantees for Ukraine that Kiev would like to receive. He stated that he would like to see the continuation of sanctions against Russia and the use of frozen assets to restore the republic.
