OREANDA-NEWS  An international platform of services and services based on artificial intelligence (AI) will appear in Russia, a cooperation agreement for the creation of such a platform was signed by the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and ITMO University, the fund said.

"The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and ITMO University have signed a cooperation agreement to create, develop and promote an international platform for the provision of services and services based on artificial intelligence (AI) using cloud technologies (Artificial Intelligence-as-a-Service (AIaaS) platform)," the statement reads. the message.

They noted that the AIaaS platform provides businesses with access to a wide range of AI capabilities and tools without the need for their own infrastructure or competencies in this area. It is added that such a solution will reduce the cost of implementing AI-based solutions and will allow scaling domestic developments to international markets.

"The use of AI covers a wide range of sectors of the Russian economy, including, in addition to the IT segment, also education, healthcare, transport, trade, energy and others. New high-tech products and services based on AI are increasingly in demand not only from market leaders, but also from small companies, small and medium-sized businesses," added Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of RDIF.

RDIF is a member of the AI Development Alliance, which unites leading companies in this field, coordinates investment attraction and participates in other activities of the alliance.
