OREANDA-NEWS The construction of the rover has been completed. China plans to send it to Mars in 2020. This was reported by Chinese scientists.

In the framework of the first Mars mission of China, it is planned to enter the planet’s orbit, landing and moving the vehicle over the surface. If it's successful, specialists will receive data on the atmosphere, topography, the magnetic field of the planet and the rocks forming it, which will help to understand how the Solar System was formed. 

The main goal of the mission is to find possible signs of life on the planet and find out if Mars can be made suitable for life in the future. The flight is expected to last seven months, and the rover will not be able to transmit the first data to the Earth in 2021.
