OREANDA-NEWS  In three hospitals in Moscow, assistant robots with cat ears and eyes appeared - "robocos." They can deliver food and medicines, meet and escort patients, help with the transportation of things and give health advice. This was told by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development Anastasia Rakova.

"What used to seem high—tech and futuristic has already become ordinary everyday life: polyclinics refuse paper documents, hospitals become "digital clinics", digital services and artificial intelligence help doctors and patients," said Rakova. — Various robots have been used in our hospitals for a long time, for example, the most famous of them is DaVinci. But robots can be more than just surgical."

"Robocalls" are working in test mode with doctors and patients of the Vorokhobov State Clinical Hospital No. 67, the N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Joint Venture and O.M. Filatov State Clinical Hospital No. 15. "They unload employees and help them focus on performing medical duties," the deputy mayor said.

Robots equipped with 3D sensors are safe to use, they can stop in front of an obstacle at any time. They navigate in space using three cameras. Two of them are located in the lower part of the case and are used to scan the environment at a frequency of 90 times per second, the third is directed at the ceiling.

The battery life of the "robocoshka" is a day. It turns on by touching. You can set the task to the "robocall" through the display. After completing the route, the robot returns to its place. In GKB No. 67 this is the neonatal intensive care unit, in the Sklifosovsky Research Institute there is a triage area. In the flagship center of GKB No. 15, two "robocalls" work at once — one is based in the triage zone, the other in the comfort zone.

If the pilot project shows good results, it will be expanded to other hospitals in the city.
