OREANDA-NEWS. On 2 May 2007, S7 opened a new sales office in Samara. Here, residents of Samara and visitors to the city can acquire tickets for any S7 flight and obtain information about our special offers and the services offered by the S7 Group.

The new office is in an outstandingly convenient location, and adds to S7’s existing representation at Samara’s Kurumoch Airport. Now, rather than having to go through agencies or spend two hours travelling to the airport, passengers wishing to acquire or change a ticket for any S7 flight will simply be able to go to S7’s office on the second floor of the Vlada shopping centre at 29, Ulitsa Leningradskaya and consult one of our sales managers.

As Aleksandr Larin, Director of the S7 Group’s Central Regional Branch, notes, improving services and making them more accessible to people is one of S7’s most important tasks in the Volga region: ‘In the end, this affects the airline’s commercial results, which allows it to further improve its service, and to enhance the frequency and geographical scope of its flights,’ he explains.

You can find a flight timetable, check seat availability and book tickets on the official S7 website, www.s7.ru, or by calling 8-800-200-000-7 (free from within Russia).

In 2007 S7 became the first Russian airline to offer its passengers the chance to buy e-tickets for its domestic flights. Now when you buy an e-ticket you no longer need to go and pick up a physical ticket; you just need to turn up for check-in at the airport.

S7 Airlines is Russia’s largest domestic carrier and one of the world’s top 50 domestic airlines. In terms of passenger numbers, S7 is Russia’s second-biggest airline overall. In 2006, S7 made more than 40,000 flights, carrying 4,900,000 passengers and more than 28,000 tonnes of cargo and post. S7’s fleet comprises 62 Airbus A310/A319, Boeing 737-500/400, Il-86 and Tu-154M aircraft.
