OREANDA-NEWS. September 28, 2007. “Severouralsk” substation maintain power supply for big mining enterprise – JSC “SUBR” which takes hold of many mines as well as consumers of Severouralsk urban district including residents and municipal formations. In the coure of reconstruction there will be conducted large scale of works meant to change out-of-date equipment with modern and efficient. New modern airvoid high-voltage circuit breakers have been already delivered at the substation, which should become a substitute for the old oil circuit breakers. Besides it’s planned to change fuses by aerial fuses, high voltage fuses by airvoid circuit breakers, high cycle wave traps, HF capacitor and filter on high voltage line 110 kW Severouralsk – Krasnoturinsk, and install power cables.

In the result of reconstruction of “Severouralsk” substation, there will be maintained a sufficient increase of power supply reliability in Severouralsk urban district as well as operation costs will be sufficiently lowered.
