OREANDA-NEWS. December 18, 2007. In 2007 KAMAZ will export over 13 thousand trucks, and in 2008 – no less than 16 thousand. Such figures were mentioned by Sergey Kogoghin, Director General of KAMAZ Inc., at the press conference in Naberezhnye Chelny.

“We shall continue to export no less than a fourth of our products, - the general director explained, - The countries where we work won’t be left without vehicles even if we have to slightly reduce deliveries on the inner market. And if it doesn’t exercise a significant influence on our presence and competition on the Russian market”.
Sergey Kogoghin noted that the company has strong positions in the CIS countries: in Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Turkmenistan. Moreover, KAMAZ has assemblies. Next year it’s planned to deliver to these countries 3,5 (possibly more) assembly sets of parts.
