OREANDA-NEWS. June 05, 2008. The Moscow Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the insurance company ROSNO are launching a joint project simplifying insurance compensations, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

Under this project, all insurers of Moscow and the Moscow Region applying to ROSNO for payment of insurance compensation under the road insurance contracts (OMTPL, MOD, etc.) and property insurance contracts, are offered by the MBRD to use a universal method for receipt of payments — via the instant issue card VISA Electron Instant Issue.

This card is issued to private individuals in case of submission of loss settlement documents. The card is provided in the offices of the insurance company ROSNO in just several minutes.

As noted by the First Deputy Chairman of MBRD Mr. Dmitry Ischenko, implementation of this project will enable the Bank to offer state-of-the-art services to the insurance company’s clients. "This joint project is primarily intended to create optimal service conditions for private individuals, who are now relieved from the need for a second application to the insurer’s office, and who now have a round-the-clock access to their money. By using the card VISA Electron Instant Issue, clients can not only receive insurance compensations under a number of programs, but also conduct any operations related to payment for goods and services and to cash withdrawals. Our Bank charges no fee for the card issue and annual maintenance, which represents just another additional advantage of this project, which is implemented in accordance with the Bank’s customer-focused policy".

"One of our company’s major priorities is to satisfy our clients’ needs as fully as possible. The majority of our clients are people who know how much their time costs. Therefore, we are glad that this project will render the insurance compensation process more convenient for our clients. Aiming to implement this project successfully, we have chosen MBRD — our partner, which has been tried and proved to be reliable in course of our longstanding efficient cooperation", commented Mr. Michael Safran, Deputy CEO of ROSNO, on the launch of the new project.
