OREANDA-NEWS. On 14 July 2008 was announced, that Moscow City Mayor Yuri Luzhkov put a capsule with the wishes to descendants into the foundation of Lazarevsky residential complex to mark the start of its construction in Yuzhnoe Butovo, south Moscow.

“I am very glad that we are presenting the large project Lazarevsky named after Admiral Lazarev,” the city mayor of Moscow said at a grand ceremony dedicated to the launch of the construction.

One of the buildings included in the residential complex is to be used to accommodate the staff of the Federal Security Bureau of the Russian Federation.

According to the official, the city authorities of Moscow have built the housing for 8,000 families of servicemen for the past 2 years.

“We are proceeding with this work because it hasn’t been completed yet. We must be attentive to the servicemen’s problems,” Mr Luzhkov noted.

The Moscow City Mayor added that the quality of the state-funded accommodation wasn’t worse than the commercial one. “We do not make any difference and we won’t permit it,” Mr Luzhkov emphasized.
