OREANDA-NEWS. February 6, 2009. FSK mulls borrowing some RUB15-20 bn in 2009, the company's deputy CEO Alexander Chistyakov said. Part of this amount can be raised due via infrastructural bonds, the placement procedure of which is being discussed by the government.

Specifically, revision of CBR's norm is at issue, which only allows placement of such bonds for a year now. "We are not at all interested in any loans for less than three years", Chistyakov noted. He said that FGC plans to get some RUB 40 bn from the federal budget which is RUB 8 bn less than the earlier expected amount, since the federal budget will be sequestrated. He went on to say that in 2010 FGC does not intend to increase its loan portfolio.
