OREANDA-NEWS  On 18 February was announced, that Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko urges President and VR Speaker to sign joint declaration on readiness to cooperate with the International Monetary Fund.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko has signed a declaration to the leadership of the International Monetary Fund on readiness for cooperation. Yulia Tymoshenko announced at the CMU sitting.

“As Prime Minister, I will initiate signing a joint declaration to the International Monetary Fund which contains the statement we are ready for cooperation and making preliminary steps described in the program of economic reforms,” the Head of Government informed and added, she had already put her signature.

Yulia Tymoshenko considers such a declaration has to be signed, besides Prime Minister, by the President, acting heads of the National Bank of Ukraine and the Finance Ministry and Verkhovna Rada Speaker. The head of Government will address the latter with a request to sign this document today.

“I am convinced our cooperation with the International Monetary Fund will prolong within nearest days, will carry on with progress and end successfully into receiving the next tranche which is to be directed to support currency and financial markets of Ukraine,” Yulia Tymoshenko stressed.
