OREANDA-NEWS. March 11, 2009. The Production Association Gomselmash will supply 200 vehicle sets to assemble combine harvesters in Kazakhstan in March-April 2009.

Upon the agreement between Gomselmash and Agromashholding-Kazakhstan, the assembly production will be carried out at the Kostanay diesel plant. The first 20 sets were dispatched at the end of the last week.

Kazakh combine harvesters КЗС-740 Esil will be assembled with the help of the Belarusian specialists. At the beginning of April Gomselmash will send engineers, setup men, and test drivers to Kostanay. All machinery will pass acceptance tests, similar to those in Gomel.

According to Vladimir Frolov, such industrial integration gives Belarusian producers preferences in the form of lower customs duties, VAT exemption in selling, possibility to hand over machinery into leasing. Kazakhstan will obtain licensed machinery most of the parts of which were assembled locally.

Advantages of the cooperation were demonstrated during the joint work in 2008, when the first 54 combine harvesters were produced in the same way. This machinery did well during harvesting and was praised by Kazakh farmers. Next year the production will be increased four times.

Production corporation Gomselmash was established on the basis of Gomselmash plant in 1978. The company’s line-up includes machines for harvesting grain, forage crops, sugar beet, potato, as well as mowers and machines for complex soil cultivation. Design, manufacture and maintenance of agricultural machinery are in compliance with the requirements of international management quality standard ISO 9001-2001.
