On 07 May 2009 was announced, that COMSTAR – United TeleSystems (COMSTAR-UTS, LSE: CMST), the leading supplier of integrated telecommunication solutions in Russia and the CIS, announced an agreement with e-port Group to accept payments for wireless broadband Internet based on mobile WIMAX via e-port electronic payment system.

WIMAX services are now payable in more than 70,000 e-port payment points throughout the whole territory of Russia. In particular, users will be able to make payments via e-port terminals that are now over 26,000 all over the country, including some 5,000 in Moscow. Payment terminals are easily accessible by Moscow dwellers and the payment procedure is simple and takes only a few minutes.

Also, an e-port payment can be made in any time with the use of a mobile handset and momentalno.ru Internet service.

Currently, e-port payments are available for a number of services of COMSTAR-UTS, including broadband Internet and pay-TV in Moscow (STREAM brand), services of Moscow City Telephone Network, COMSTAR services in some regions of Russia, including Rostov-on-Don, Ivanovo, Perm and a number of other cities. COMSTAR-UTS intends to further promote its co-operation with e-port Group and other companies forming a part of the OE Investments holding.
