OREANDA-NEWS. September 1, 2009. JSC “Engineering Center UES” will perform design and survey work for two 110 kV substations and four 110 kV high voltage power lines which will be used for oil pipeline power supply. It is planned to complete engineering survey work at the sites by late August.

JSC “Engineering Center UES” contracted the work “External power supply for oil pipeline system from Pump station “Pur-Pe” to Pump station “Samotlor” with the General contractor of oil pipeline construction – ОАО “Giprotruboprovod”. The Customer is ОАО “Sibnefteprovod” (an affiliated company of OАО “JSC “Transneft”).

The contracted work should be completed by JSC “Engineering Center UES” in full scope by the end of the year. Currently, a subcontracting company OOO “Kern” is engaged in the survey work and the design work is being done by a branch of JSC “Engineering Center” – “Energomontazhproject”.

The two designed 110 kV substations (“Pur-Pe” and “Samotlor”) and four 110 kV 110 high voltage power lines are planned to be constructed in Purovsky district of Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District by the end of 2011. JSC “Engineering Center UES” will also participate in tender for construction and installation work at these sites; the tender is expected to be held in autumn this year.

According to JSC “Transneft”, the “Pur-Pe-Samotlor” oil pipeline construction project is designed as a connection line between the western and the eastern wing of the Russian pipeline system. The total length of the new route will make about 420 km. The route will be located at the territory of Yamalo-Nenetsky and Khanty-Mansiysky Autonomous Districts. The starting point of the 1020 mm diameter oil pipeline will the head pumping station “Pur-Pe”.
