OREANDA-NEWS. On 4 September 2009 was announced, that four metro stations are to be opened in southern Moscow during the 2010-2011 period.

“It is planned to open four new stations in two years to come. Shipilovskaya and Zyablikovo stations may be commissioned on the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya [light green] line in late 2010. Besides, passengers will be able to transfer from Zyablikovo to Krasnogvardeyskaya station on the Zamoskvoretskaya [green] line,” Yury Bulanov, prefect of Moscow’s Southern Administrative District, said.

According to the official, Tekhnopark station originally scheduled to be opened this year will be put into operation in 2011.

Tekhnopark that is currently being designed will be located between Kolomenskaya and Avtozavodskaya stations.

Mr Bulanov added that Brateevo station was to be opened in 2011 too, it would become a terminal station at the southern end of the Zamoskvoretskaya line.
