OREANDA-NEWS. September 15, 2009. Yuri V. Trushin, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Russian Agricultural Bank took part in the meeting of the State Duma Committee on Agribusiness, held in Moscow, to discuss results of the Federal Program on Agribusiness Development 2008-2012 implementation, reported the press-centre of RusAg.

From January to August 2009, RusAg has extended 76 thousand loans totaling RUR 197 billion for the Federal Program on Agribusiness Development implementation, which is 30% growth compared to 2008.

In 2009 the Bank extended 370 loans for the total amount of RUR 10 billion for the reconstruction and development of livestock breeding complexes.

From the beginning of the current year RusAg provided 65 thousand loans to personal households’ owners for the total amount of RUR 15 billion. From January to August 2009 farms received about 4 thousand loans amounting to RUR 9.5 billion, and agribusiness consumer cooperatives – 600 loans totaling some RUR 3 billion.
