OREANDA-NEWS. February 12, 2010. First Russian-Japanese Congress on Agribusiness (Congress) was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation under supervision of Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and Japan Embassy in Russia, reported the press-centre of Russian Agricultural Bank.

The Congress was dedicated to the issues of state regulation and support of agribusiness, perspectives of Russian-Japanese cooperation in agribusiness, food safety and food markets.

South-East Asia food market is strategically important market for the export of Russian grain. Representatives of Russian Agricultural Bank attended the Congress to discuss opportunities of export finance of the Russian grain exported to Japan and other possibilities of cooperation with Japanese partners.
