OREANDA-NEWS. February 24, 2010. Standard & Poor's rating service announced on confirmation of a 'CC' long-term counteragent credit rating and a 'kzCC" national rating of Mortgage company BTA Ipoteka. The ratings were withdrawn on company request, reported the press-centre of KASE.

Standard & Poor's as well withdrew a 'C' debt unsecured rating of the mid-term note issue program, and ratings of three issues of local bonds.

The confirmation of the long-term counteragent rating is line with our estimates of the BTA Bank's financial portfolio as being weak, high risk of refinancing,  and an uncertainty in regard of capability of mother company BTA Bank (D/-/D) to service the current debt. The ratings were withdrawn on company request. The outlook was negative as at the moment of ratings withdrawal.
