OREANDA-NEWS. April 12, 2010. OJSC Samotlorneftegaz (a member of the TNK-BP structure) began hosting a series of meetings with employees to discuss the new 2010—2013 collective bargaining agreement. The new agreement entered into by the employer and the employees will retain its social-oriented flavour. In addition to providing other social benefits, the company will continue to send employees to recreational and convalescence centres while medical insurance and private pension schemes will also remain in place, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

Furthermore, based on employee feedback a decision has been reached to increase post-employment benefits and to pay closer attention to one-off payments awarded in specific circumstances. Other amendments have been introduced in the document to improve social protection of employees at this company. The collective bargaining agreement is to be approved in late April.
