OREANDA-NEWS. April 12, 2010. A meeting of the shareholders of Alfa-Bank Ukraine changed the composition of the Bank’s Supervisory Board.

Rushan Khvesyuk was appointed as a member of the Supervisory Board of Alfa-Bank Ukraine. Thus, the Supervisory Board of the Bank was expanded from five to six members.

Rushan Khvesyuk is a Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Executive Board of Alfa-Bank Russia.

On November 30, 2009, a meeting of the shareholders of Alfa-Bank Ukraine made a decision to increase the Bank’s authorized capital by private placement of ordinary registered shares. Alfa-Bank Russia became new shareholder of Alfa-Bank (Ukraine) by acquiring 19.9% of shares. Therefore, it was decided to appoint Rushan Khvesyuk, a representative of the top management of Alfa-Bank Russia, to the Supervisory Board of Alfa-Bank Ukraine.

Mr. Alexander Lukanov, President and Managing Director of Alfa-Bank Ukraine, said: “We always actively collaborated with our Russian colleagues. I believe that Mr. Khvesyuk’s skills and experience, as well as use of innovative technologies of the Russian bank, will help to widen our cooperation and promote further development of Alfa-Bank in Ukraine”.
