OREANDA-NEWS. April 15, 2010. Sergey Sinigibsky was appointed the Director General of JSC Plastik.

Since 2007 Sergey Sinigibsky was a head of JSC Saranskiy Zavod Rezinotekhnika, an enterprise of JSC SIBUR-Russkiye Shiny. The new appointment was made within a corporate program for turnover of the managerial staff. Sinigibsky replaced the former Director General of JSC Plastik Sergey Merzlyakov, the Vice President - Head of Plastics and Organic Synthesis Business Unit, who had previously occupied the both posts.

Sergey Anatolyevich Sinigibsky graduated from Krasnoyarsk Polytechnic Institute specializing in automotive vehicles and fleet. He received the MBA degree at Nizhny Novgorod Institute of Management and Business. Sinigibsky completed training under the Commerce and Marketing Program (Isvor-FIAT, Turin, Italy).

Before being employed at SIBUR, Sergey Sinigibsky held the posts of the Vice Director General of JSC Gorkovsky Metallurgichesky Zavod, the General Director of TD PRODO-NN - Prodo Company Grouping, and worked at BOR Glass Works of Glaverbel Group, a Belgian holding.

JSC Plastik is an enterprise of SIBUR, which comprises production operations for synthesis of polymer materials and processing with an in-house energy supply system. The enterprise is the exclusive ABS manufacturer in Russia and the largest player in the market. JSC Plastik produces styrene, phenolic, geosynthetics, automotive and machine components, and household goods.

Since the enterprise is located 200 km from Moscow on a major trunk railway, and 4 km from Moscow-Don Highway, transport communication with end users and suppliers is easy and inexpensive.
