OREANDA-NEWS. June 25, 2010. Moscow Domodedovo Airport is glad to announce that late May Tunisian air carrier Nouvelair launched a new scheduled service from a Mediterranean island Djerba (Tunisia) to Moscow Domodedovo Airport. This destination is a unique one for Moscow Aviation Hub as it is available only from Domodedovo airport.

The flight will be operated once per two weeks by Boeing 737:

There are two partner airlines of Domodedovo operating to Tunisia: Transaero and Nouvelair. Transaero started operations to Monastir in 2005 with summer charter program however in 2009 the airline made this program scheduled and all-year. Nouvelair has operated flights to Domodedovo airport from Monastir since April 2009. Djerba now is the second destination of the Tunisian airline in Domodedovo route network.

Nouvelair established in 1989 is based in Habib Bourguiba International Airport (Monastir) with an air fleet featured by Airbus 320, Airbus 321 and Boeing 737.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport is the largest airport of Russia. Its market share in total passenger traffic in Moscow makes 46%. At the moment 74 partner airlines (46 foreign including 11 representing the CIS States and 28 Russian) connecting over 227 destinations operate flights all over the world.
