OREANDA-NEWS. November 11, 2010. TGC-1, the largest producer of electricity and heat of the North-West of Russia, is pleased to announce the change of address of its headquarters in St. Petersburg. The Company is moving from the building on Marsovo pole it occupied for over 80 years to a new business-centre in Petrogradsky district. TGC-1 is the last company spun-off of verticaly-integrated Lenenergo to leave these premises. Most other companies, including Lenenergo which became electricity distribution company after reorganization, moved to new offices in 2006-2007.

The major rationale behind the change is increasing efficiency of the headquarters' operation through better organization of the office space and use of modern technology, which was difficult to achieve in the old building.

The Company officially changed its address as of November 1, 2010.
