OREANDA-NEWS. December 22, 2010. Rosneft’s sales subsidiary RN-Krasnoyarsknefteproduct commissioned a filling station in Achinsk, which has become the company’s first filling station in the Krasnoyarsk region. This event marked Rosneft’s entry to the promising retail market of one of Russia’s largest federal districts. Until now, Krasnoyarsknefteproduct has been a wholesaler in the region where Rosneft produces around 12 million tons of oil, reported the press-centre of Rosneft.

The emergence of this new major player in the Krasnoyarsk retail market will lead to the improvement of the quality of motor fuel and promote civilized competition in the local oil product market. Rosneft is planning to open four more filling stations in this region – including city of Krasnoyarsk – before the end of 2010.

The newly commissioned filling station is equipped with state-of-the-art metering and control equipment, fire and industrial safety systems, while the company store offers a broad range of associated products. Double-wall tanks and vapor traps, as well as a waste water treatment system, effectively prevent environmental pollution.
