OREANDA-NEWS. February 08, 2011. Indrek Julge, currently the director of SEB’s Global Transaction Services (GTS), will be joining the management board and becoming the head of the Corporate Banking Division of SEB Latvia on 1 March 2011. The Corporate Banking Division comprises the Major and Business Client Department, the Money and Capital Market Division and the Global Transaction Services Division, reported the press-centre of SEB.

Indrek has been working for SEB since 1997 when he took up the post of manager of the Business Client Department, before becoming the sales manager with the bank’s leasing company and finally the chairman of the management board. He has been the director of the GTS Division since 2009.

Indrek graduated from Tallinn Technical University in economics and from the University of Tartu with a Master’s degree in the same field.

Ainars Ozols, director of SEB Latvia, says he values Indrek’s decision to join the bank very highly. “His experience in SEB will help us strengthen cooperation with our corporate clients so that we’re able to offer them all of the financial services and solutions they need from their home bank,” he said.

Riho Unt, chairman of the management board of SEB Pank, says that Indrek is well-regarded in the financial sector and has made a significant contribution to the shaping of SEB as the most valued brand in the local financial sector. “Closer ties with SEB Latvia are part of the SEB Group’s strategy,” he said. “It’s important that we give outstanding staff the chance to apply themselves in different companies within the group.”
