OREANDA-NEWS. March 25, 2011. Head of Sales at Allianz Ukraine Ins.Co. was appointed Sergey Cherniavsky. His goals shall include corporate business development, strengthening positions in retail, medium and small business, as well as implementation of the company’s strategic initiatives.

Sergey Cherniavsky was born in 1974 in Kyiv, Ukraine. In 1966, he graduated from the Physics Department of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University.

Mr. Cherniavsky has worked in insurance for more than 14 years, of which 10 - for international insurance and brokerage companies. Sergey’s work activities began on the position of international business reinsurance department specialist at SKIDE insurance company in 1997. In 1999-2000, he worked as an underwriter for QBE Ukraine insurance company. In 2000-2004, he occupied a post of Deputy General Representative of Heath Lambert in Ukraine. In 2005, he was appointed Reinsurance Director of Willis brokerage branch in Ukraine, where he worked until March 2008. In April 2008 he switched to ORANTA insurance company, where he occupied a post of Director of Corporate Sales first, and later on – a post of Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Company. In September 2009, he switched to Ukrainian Insurance Group Ins.Co., where he worked as Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Company.
