OREANDA-NEWS. April 28, 2011. SITRONICS IT, one of the major system integrators and leading suppliers of products, solutions and services in the sphere of information technology in Eastern Europe and CIS countries, announces consolidated financial results for the forth quarter of the year 2010, in according to the US GAAP standards, reported the press-centre of SITRONICS.

Segment revenues were up 50% year on year in the fourth quarter and up 46% for the full year, which primarily reflected the increased number of completed projects during both reporting periods. Segment OIBDA was up 37% year on year in the fourth quarter and up 2% for the full year, with OIBDA margins of 9.0% and 7.1% for the two respective periods. In the context of the key business lines of SITRONICS IT in the year 2010, sales of IT infrastructure solutions and system integration projects accounted for 18% of revenue, whereas the share of sales of telecommunications integration solutions amounted to 44.5% for the full year. Business consulting and IT outsourcing projects accounted for 37.5%.

Growth of IT line of business as part of the SITRONICS Group is ensured by means of the new contracts. The segment’s businesses have secured US\\$ 181.4 million of new contracts since the announcement of the Group?s third quarter financial results on December 2, 2010 and USD 303.7 million of new contracts since the beginning of 2010.According to the results of the year 2010, SITRONICS IT became the most profitable ‘daughter’ of the SITRONICS Group.

An essential success factor was also a clear focus on rendering the services for IT-consuming branches such as banking and telecommunications,” Volodymyr Yasynskyi, President of SITRONICS IT, comments.

Key Projects
Government sector. SITRONICS signed an agreement with the government of  YamaloNenetskiy Autonomous Region to implement an E-government project. The first phase of the project is worth US\\$ 2 million, and has been now completed. SITRONICS is currently preparing to implement the second stage of the project.

SITRONICS signed a contract with  Russian Interior Ministry  in December 2010 to provide training equipment for the ongoing restructuring of the Ministry. The first phase of the project has been initiated.

A failure-resistant platform for the information system necessary for the Chernobyl nuclear power plant decommissioning has been designed and implemented. The 5 years service contract for the IT infrastructure of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant has been signed.

As a part of the modernization program for the State Tax Administration of Ukraine, the project of document management system development and implementation is being carried out. The document management system being implemented in the STAU is focused on the cutting-edge web-oriented technology and the use of electronic document flow between government agencies and authorities.

Banks and finance. Financial sector was one of the key drivers of growth for SITRONICS IT in the year 2010. A contract for the integration of a multi-purpose banking solution Oracle FLEXCUBE at Prominvestbank in Ukraine has been concluded. The Company has also automated the budgeting process of VTB Bank (Ukraine) by the means of Oracle Hyperion Planning.

One of the major projects in the banking sector for the customer relationship management system implementation is being carried out in Russia and Ukraine at Sberbank of Russia. Three stages of the CRM Corporate project based on Oracle Siebel CRM solution have been completed at Sberbank of Russia.

At present there are more than 15,000 users operating in Sberbank’s CRM system all across Russia. The project is being implemented by efforts of a consortium, which SITRONICS IT makes part of. A data center has also been designed for Sberbank of Russia in Ukraine. As a part of the project, the whole complex of works from designing to comprehensive implementation of a data center has been carried out by the Company’s specialists. A project for multifunctional multiservice and fault-tolerant unified communications system for the bank has been completed in autumn.

Telecommunications. Last year MTS, SITRONICS IT and Oracle carried out one of the most rapid and large-scale implementations of Oracle Hyperion Planning in Russian telecommunications sector. The project for outsourcing of user workplace maintenance (AnyKey) at MTS (Russia) has been implemented. The project has covered the South, Far-East, Ural and North-West macro regions. A service contract for the operator’s office equipment maintenance has been signed in Ukraine. The Company also performs complex maintenance of all additional modules of Non-core billing platform for MTS Ukraine.

Moreover, SITRONICS in association with Axios Systems has implemented a platform for management of IT services in the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. This project, based on Assyst platform by Axios Systems, became the Group’s first ITSM project in the banking sector.

Fuel and energy sector. SITRONICS  completed an upgrade of isolated data communication networks for a subsidiary of Bashneft, as part of  the  strategic partnership with  the oil company. This process resulted in the creation of an integrated  data transmission communication platform, using  a unified IP-based  telephone system.  The Group also implemented a project to deliver, launch and configure hardware for an enterprise resource planning platform on the basis of SAP for Bashneft, which included the implementation of a Daterium Mobile Data Processing Centre.
Education. New regional projects have been successfully implemented as a part of the educational business line in SITRONICS IT.

In 2010 a contract for the delivery and implementation of a supercomputer has been signed with the Lomonosov Moscow State University. The project has been completed in March 2011. The supercomputer, which is now used at the research and development computing center of MSU, is among the top 50 of the CIS supercomputers, ranking 26th. 

Moreover, a multiservice educational information environment (MIOS) was implemented at the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Bashkortostan last year. And with the support of Tula branch of Sberbank of Russia, the MIOS environment was implemented at the regional “Vozrozhdeniie” school. At present, there are more than 75 MIOS implementations made in the secondary educational establishments.

Telematic services. The first stage of the project for complex monitoring and management of vehicles –“NIKA”– was completed for Moscow Heat Network Company (MHNC) in 2010. A project for the implementation of a system of automated control over the car park of PalletTrade Company based on the “NIKA” information and navigation service has started. According to PalletTrade, as a result of the operational testing, cost saving for the car park maintenance comprised about 40%.
