OREANDA-NEWS. May 13, 2011. Sviaz-Bank acted as paying agent authorized by Rostelecom OJSC to pay interest on the sixth coupon of its Series 13 bonds, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

The bondholders were paid coupon interest at a rate of 11% per annum, or 27 rubles 42 kopecks per security. The total payout, less tax withheld at pay time, amounted to 54,830,197 rubles.

Rostelecom OJSC offered its Series 13 bond issue on February 15, 2011, by converting Series BO-01 bonds issued by Southern Telecommunications Company OJSC that was taken over by Rostelecom OJSC.

Southern Telecommunications Company OJSC floated its three-year BO-01 bond issue on October 21, 2009 to raise 2 billion rubles. Sviaz-Bank acted as the managing underwriter and selling agent for the issue.
