OREANDA-NEWS. June 24, 2011. The project will allow to provide a equable distribution in the 110 kV network and to reduce power losses.

Branch of IDGC North-West  "Komienergo"  started the next phase of reconstruction of the transmission lines 110 kV with the organization of digital communication channels between substations in Syktyvkar.
Currently being renovated the lines to substations 110/10 kV "Chovyu" and "Zapadnaya."

Today, at both sites were prepared foundations for metal anchor leg: two are already installed on the line leading to the substation "Zapadnaya", the other three will be installed in the near future. As a result of these works will be reconstructed around 1 km of transmission lines.
 
The project will allow to provide a equable distribution in the 110 kV network and to reduce power losses. This will improve the reliability of electricity supply and will provide an opportunity to connect new sites.
For the realization of this phase of the project in 2011 Komienergo will spend 44 million rubles without VAT. The total cost for the reconstruction will be 105 million rubles without VAT.
