OREANDA-NEWS. July 20, 2011. The NBM’s foreign reserves as of July 8 this year totaled USD 1,893.8 million, down USD 9.5 million or 0.5 percent for the last reporting week.  The data released by the National Bank of Moldova show that the NBM;s foreign reserves as of July 1 this year totaled USD 1,903.3 million.

As it was reported earlier, in June 2011 foreign reserves reduced by USD 7.91 million or 0.4% from the previous month and totaled USD 1,901.48 million as of June 30.

In the first half of 2011, the NBM’s monetary reserves grew USD 183.79 million or 10.7 percent – to USD 1,901.48 million. The National Bank’s monetary reserves in 2010 increased by 16 percent – to USD 1,717.69 million. The absolute historical record of foreign reserves totaled USD 1,922.7 million and was registered on June 10, 2011.
