OREANDA-NEWS. August 19, 2011. At the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2011 in the presence of Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Gazprom komplektatsiya and Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company signed the Agreement for the delivery of ten Sukhoi Superjet 100/95LR aircraft (longer range version) for Gazprom avia Aviation Company, reported the press-centre of Gazprom.

The aircraft are to be delivered between 2013 and 2015.

Under the signed Agreement Gazprom avia Aviation Company plans to substitute the entire fleet of Yak-42 aircraft with Sukhoi Superjet 100/95LR in a phased manner.

Sukhoi Superjet purchase allows the Aviation Company to significantly raise profitability of air carriage by means of increased fuel efficiency of the new aircraft as well as reduced cost and duration of their maintenance and repair.

In addition, the compliance of Sukhoi Superjet with the noise standards and the aviation safety requirements set forth by the European Union, other countries and the International Civil Aviation Organization contributes to cost reduction of the Aviation Company.

Holding
inked an agreement of intent for delivery of 39 MI 8AMT helicopters in various family modifications: cargo, passenger and convertible.

The helicopters are to be delivered between 2012 and 2016.

The purchase of MI 8AMT allows to ensure scheduled helicopters replacement and expansion of the fleet to support new fields and the Russian Unified Gas Supply System.
