OREANDA-NEWS. October 19, 2011. The delegation of Moscow Domodedovo Airport is participating in the 17th World Aviation Forum, The World Route Development-2011, which has been held in Berlin (Germany) October 2-4, 2011.

The World Forum “Routes” is one of the major aviation events worldwide. It is the leading platform for negotiation and communication between representatives of airports and airlines around the world.

Participation in the “Routes” Forum will make it possible for Domodedovo to present its current and potential business partners the promising projects of the airport. In particular, the largest construction project of expanding the passenger terminal will be presented at the forum. This will be the biggest single passenger terminal in Russia and Eastern Europe, with all halls under one roof. With the commissioning of all its segments, the area of the passenger terminal of Domodedovo Airport will increase 9-fold, up to 920,000 sq m. Domodedovo has also a plan of increasing its international cargo terminal from 160,000 to 360,000 tonnes per year.
