Troika Dialog, one of the leading full-service investment houses in the CIS, today announces the appointment of Rob Leith as Global Head of Investment Banking and Global Markets, Managing Director. Rob will join Troika Dialog in January 2012 from its close associate, Standard Bank, where he was most recently Group Head of Strategic Expansion and Chief Executive of Global Corporate and Investment Banking.

In his new position, Rob will work to consolidate Troika Dialog's status as a key adviser to Russian and international institutions on the CIS opportunity while also heading Troika Dialog’s Global Markets business and further develop its market leading positions in equities, fixed income, derivatives and structured products.

Rob brings over two decades of experience in emerging markets investment banking and management of a financial services institution to Troika Dialog. He has been Chief Executive of CIB at Standard Bank since 2003. He joined Standard Bank in 1991 and has played a key role in the development of the Group’s business outside South Africa, both organically and through acquisitions. Rob was educated at the University of Cape Town and is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
