OREANDA-NEWS. March 09, 2012. UTair Aviation is forced to announce the disqualification of GALS Russian Helicopter Company LLC and Haven Investments Ltd. as suppliers of aviation equipment and services.

UTair Aviation has determined business relations with these purveyor entities as unsuitable due to the fact that these companies did not fulfill their contractual obligations to UTair Aviation in transactions with the airline and made inappropriate and illegal use of funds. UTair Aviation has not only disqualified these companies as suppliers, but has also disqualified their respective management bodies and owners from future transactions.

Disqualification as an approved vendor to UTair Aviation does not indicate bad faith on the part of the aforementioned vendors to other companies, but unsuitability in terms of quality or standards for UTair’s partnership with UTair Aviation in accordance with the airlines internal policy regulations on the requirements for organizations-purveyors of aircraft components.

UTair Aviation disqualifies vendors as inappropriate if such organizations are found to be providing counterfeit or sub-standard quality aviation components, attempting to qualify or conceal acts of commercial bribery or fraud or providing false information or falsified documents.
