OREANDA-NEWS. March 16, 2012. As Anatolie Salaru, minister of transport and road infrastructure has said, 768,8 mln. leis will be spend on primary roads and 256 mln. leis on secondary ones. In total, maintenance of roads will take 824,8 mln. leis, including 596,8 mln. leis for primary roads and 228 mln. leis for secondary ones.

The greatest amount of money, 541 mln. leis, will be allotted to the servicing of roads, including 411 mln. leis for primary roads and130 mln. leis for secondary ones. About 80 mln. leis will be allotted to provide traffic security, namely, to mark roads, set road signs, etc.

 The major repairs of national roads and engineering constructions will be allotted to 100 mln. leis. 50 mln. leis of the sum are planned to repair the road R30, connecting Aneni Noi, Causeni, Stefan Voda and the Ukrainian border.

The repairs of the roads R44 Calarasi-Lozova Hincesti and L186 Floresti-Vadeni will be allotted to 25 mln. leis each. To purchase special road equipments and machines for the repair works it was allotted 80 mln. leis , including 60 mln. leis for primary roads and 20 mln. leis for secondary ones. Designing works are intended to be allocated to 20 mln. leis, including 12 mln. leis for primary roads and 8 mln. leis.

The amount of the Road Fund was 787,98 mln. leis in 2011 and grew 30% this year and fourfold as compared with 2009. the funds are accumulated from excises on oil products import, dues and road –user taxes.
