OREANDA-NEWS. May 14, 2012. Executives of Basic Element group companies, including Russian Machines, Glavstroy, GAZ Group and UC RUSAL, were ranked seven times in the “Industrial elite of Russia - the top 100 manufacturing managers in 2012" report.

Oleg Deripaska, CEO of Basic Element and UC RUSAL and the President of En+ Group, is included in the top three in the report prepared by Production Management web-portal. This rating has been published since 2011.

The rating also includes Basic Element top-managers: Sergey Filippov, Managing Director of the Bratsk Aluminum Plant; Alexei Barantsev, Managing Director of "Glavstroy-management"; Anton Savchenko, Managing Director of "Sayanogorsk aluminum plant"; Alexander Filatov, CEO of "Russian Machines" Corporation; and Cyril Epstein, Vice-Chairman of the Board for Restructuring - Director of "Auto components" Division of GAZ Group MC and CEO of "Auto components - GAZ Group".

According to the report’s authors, "the best choose the best" is the main principle of the rating.  It is based on the opinions of more than 500 reputable managers from well known companies. They assessed the contribution of the most successful managers of the industrial sector in the development of their businesses, industry and the country's economy.

"We continue to see positive developments in the industrial area. The developments are logical and focused on improving productivity and competitiveness of Russian enterprises," the report’s authors said. They also added that the unprecedented commitments and perseverance in achieving the goals of these executives will be stable and always focused on the best results.
