OREANDA-NEWS. September 18, 2012. Anhui and Manitoba, Canada, signed cooperation memo in Shanghai September 17. Governor Li Bin and Greg  Sellinger, governor of Manitoba attended the signing ceremony. Deputy governor Hua Jianhui, and Han Xiancong, general secretary of Anhui Provincial Government, took part in the activity.

Manitoba is the 5th largest province in Canada and the province takes lead in agriculture, the production of agri-machines and food processing. Two parties have been positively promoting high-level mutual visits and non-government exchange and two sides have cooperated in agriculture, trade and education since 2000.

Li Bin said that Anhui is in the key period of accelerated development. Unique geographic advantage, rich resources and broad market make Anhui become more important and more important in the opening and regional development layout.

Li said that we will take this opportunity to better positively communicate and better serve the partners in a bid to upgrade the cooperation.
