OREANDA-NEWS. October 3, 2012. Belarus’ state-owned distilling company Gomel LVZ exported USD 2.22 million worth of alcoholic beverages in January-August 2012, up 21% on the year, a company representative told.

The company exported 159,800 dal of ethyl alcohol (up 4.5%) and 66,800 dal of vodka (up 120%).

Gomel LVZ exports alcoholic beverages to the Baltic States and Germany, which small quantities shipped to Armenia, New Zealand. Ethyl alcohol is exported to Turkmenistan, Moldova, Georgia and Azerbaijan.

Gomel LVZ exports boosted alcohol output 6.3% in January-August rolling out 827,000 dal.

Established in 1897, Gomel LVZ produced Br176.635 billion worth of alcohol products in January-August 2012. (USD 1/Br8,400)
