Uralkali (LSE: URKA; “the Company”), one of the world’s largest potash producers, has been informed that on 24 September 2012 its GDRs were included in the DAXglobal Agribusiness Index, an influential equity benchmark that replicates the performance of the most important agribusiness companies globally and is closely tracked by global fund managers.

With a weighting of c.6.2%, Uralkali has been ranked among the top five index constituents and is the first Russian company in the Index.

Uralkali (www.uralkali.com) is one of the world’s largest potash producers with a market share of about 20%. The Company’s assets consist of 5 mines and 7 ore-treatment mills situated in the towns of Berezniki and Solikamsk (Perm Territory, Russia).
