OREANDA-NEWS. November 9, 2012. Hill+Knowlton Strategies announced the appointment of Mylene Mangalindan as senior vice president of media relations working with the firm’s global corporate and technology practice groups.

Mangalindan will be based in Hill+Knowlton Strategies’ San Francisco office where she will handle U.S. and international clients, including Russian-headquartered companies.

Mangalindan is an experienced professional with broad expertise in corporate reputation management and brand communications. She has a strong track record delivering successful results in media and influencer relations, crisis communications, internal communications, industry analyst relations and digital communications.

Prior to joining H+K, Mangalindan was vice president of corporate communications at Rearden Commerce, Inc. where she managed public relations and internal communications. She was a staff writer for The Wall Street Journal for eight years, leading the paper’s e-commerce coverage. She also reported for Bloomberg News covering software and the Internet.

Mangalindan previously served as director of corporate communications at Hewlett Packard where she was responsible for financial communications, crisis management, corporate positioning, and press and media relations.

Mangalindan holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Berkeley and a Master’s of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University.
