OREANDA-NEWS. November 26, 2012. During the annual Euro Finance Week Sberbank signed a cooperation agreement with Eximbanka SR. Sergey Gorkov, Deputy Chairman of Sberbank of Russia, signed the agreement on behalf of Sberbank of Russia and Igor Lichnovsky, Chairman of the Council and General Manager of Eximbanka SR, signed the agreement on behalf of Eximbanka SR, reported the press-centre of Sberbank.

The agreement covers the development of cooperation in the areas of finance, insurance and guarantees, as well as exchange of information in order to support the export of goods and services between the two countries.

Sergey Gorkov commented: “As Sberbank Group continues to grow its international business, including in a number of countries in the CIS, Central and Eastern Europe and Turkey, we plan to cooperate in trade finance between Slovak companies and Sberbank Group’s clients. Cooperation with Eximbanka of Slovakia, which was established by the Slovak government to support the country's export of goods and services, will further expand our capacity to offer our clients a diversified range of financial products at attractive terms.”
