OREANDA-NEWS. November 28, 2012. Belarus’ gross domestic product (GDP) expanded 2.2% on the year in January-October 2012 to 408.3 trillion Belarusian rubles (USD 47.8 billion at the central bank’s exchange rate), an official with Belarus’ National Statistics Committee told reporters.

Industrial output in January-September 2012 increased 6.6% on the year to Br524 trillion (around USD 61.3 million).

Farm output rose 5.2% to Br91.8 trillion (USD 10.7 billion).

In 2011, Belarus’ GDP grew 5.3% on the year to 274.3 trillion Belarusian rubles. Industrial output amounted to 337 trillion rubles, up 9.1% on the year. Farm output increased 6.6% to 56.7 trillion rubles.
