OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2013. In December 2012, Latvian airline airBaltic operated 3,235 flights, or 8% less than in December 2011 when airBaltic operated 3,508 flights.

The airline carried 181,593 passengers in December its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East. During the year 2012, a total of 3,089,406 passengers were served by airBaltic’s aircraft.

The airline’s load factor, which represents the number of passengers as a proportion of the number of available seats, in December 2012 was at a level of 62%. The airline load factor for the year 2012 was 72% or - 3% point less than in year 2011.

The 15-minute flight punctuality indicator for airBaltic was at a level of 72.70% in December 2012. This means that 72 of every 100 airBaltic flights in December departed at the planned time or with a delay of no more than 15 minutes.
